I cannot yet report on the BS generator. It was delivered with a problem and is not working, I am still trying to work with a local repair/warranty shop to have the problem fixed. So far I am very disappointed in the product and in EGD.

I did not buy this generator with DIRECT, but I am very happy with it! Starts on first pull and is 240 V. More than enough to run the whole house with a transfer switch. Now, it’s noisy, a little heavy and I don’t dare connecting the electronics to it...Like the modem, the router, flat screens, desk top computer, etc... that’s the reason why, I purchased the Honda EG 2800i with an inverter. (it’s 120 V only). So I use both generators. Ready for climate change...
