I researched EGD's site and Their generators. The Generac XG 8000E was the perfect for my needs. Delivery by R&L carriers was just great. They called and confirmed the delivery to be between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, sure enough the truck appeared at 8:00am .
I assembled it myself. With a little ingenuity putting the wheels and the floor bracket on was a cinch.
The only tool required was a 13mm wrench to hook-up the battery cable. After adding oil and gas to the unit, I hit the starter and it started with no hesitation. I ran an operational check and it performed excellent. I believe this unit will run whatever appliance(s) I'll need in the event of a power loss (except my Central A/C) Too sum it up, I am one very satisfied customer.
