Unfortunately, this review is not good. I purchased this Champion Generator (Model# 100111) in October 2019 for occasional power outages at my home. I cared for the unit very well: oil, air filter and spark plug changes, stored and covered in indoor garage and used high quality gas with treatments. I would even run monthly for a few min to keep the battery charged and engine fresh. In July 2023 after only 300 hours of total running time, the engine broke apart beyond repair. I was expecting it to last longer. I contacted the company and since I am 9 months passed the 3-year warranty, there is nothing they can do. I could get a new engine but that would cost more than purchasing a new one so that is my only option. I expected the engine to last more than 300 hours, especially the way it was cared for. I do not recommend it.

This generator ran my entire house with no problems. I gave it four stars on features because it doesn't have a gas guage. I followed the instructions that came with it and got it set up and it cranked cranked right up. I later ran it for the 5hr break in and then changed the oil and filter as instructed and now i'm ready for the next power outage. No problems.

Received the generator in a timely manner. When generator arrived I assembled and started to do the 5 hour break in. Upon starting the generator the motor ran fine. However the generator had zero voltage output. Called Champion and they gave me a work around, not a permanent fix. I didn’t pay $2500 for a generator to have to use a work around to get the generator to work properly. On top of that after the conversation with Champion they know about the issue with this model but yet they don’t have a permanent fix. DO NOT RECOMMEND
