After researching, I purchased one of these. After assembly, it would not start with the battery and starter, though it started with the pull rope OK. I charged the battery, and it started, once. I set it aside until I needed it, it was on a battery tender while stored. The next time I wanted to use it, and it would not crank over with the starter. I also notice the bracket at the generator end was broken. I did not notice it during assembly, and it is very obvious. I contacted electric generators direct, and they punted to the manufacturer, who are still 'investigating' my claim.

This generator is fantastic! It was very easy to unpack, setup and get ready to run, only took me about 1 hour and it was ready to go! It is very simple to operate. I am no mechanic so was a bit apprehensive, but all my concerns quickly evaporated. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. During power company power outages, we use it to power our box freezer, refrigerator, aquarium filters/lights/heaters, pond filter, TV our WiFi gateway and a few essential lights. It does this easily with power to spare. I’ve only used it with LP gas and a 40 pound LP canister easily lasts 16+ hours with what we are electrifying. The wheels make the system effortless to move so it can easily be stored undercover when not in use and easily moved to a safe outdoor location when in use. I have no qualms about recommending it unqualifiedly! My only regret is that we did not get it sooner. The service from Electric Generators Direct was fantastic. The generator was delivered within a couple of days of being ordered. The whole process from ordering to set up could not have been easier!

This was an Emergency purchase made on a cell phone web site ( P.E.D.) at 7:00pm Wed night..It arrived in Houston on Saturday at 3:00pm. When they say "ships in 1-2 days" you better be home because it Surely will be there in 2 days ! THANKS P.E.D.! -- This generator, for the price of a 'stripped down' one, had ALL the features of a Much more Expensive one.--- 5500W max, wheels, battery start, Dual Fuel, and Bargain Price,-- shipped in 2 days over the phone.After hours!---I have only run it for two days (14 hrs each) with NO problems yet. So far, I am greatly Impressed with the Product and the Service of PED.--We needed HELP during Hurricane BERYL in Houston TX. and This Company came thru for us BIG TIME,----THANKS AGAIN !!!
