We purchased this generator to take on a camping trip and was never able to use it. The unit kept dying on us the entire time. We even took it to town to have someone look at it and he couldn't figure it out either. We are very disappointed in this unit.

The generator itself has ran great for the 11 hours we have used it. However the handle broke and we are waiting on Firman to write us back. Still no response so hoping they will actual fix the problem. If not I might be stuck buying the parts myself.

It’s easy to pull start, runs pretty quiet and last up to 6-8 hours with it connected to the trailer. The handle works great also when it folds up the compact size makes it easy to pick up to load and unload.

We use it with our RV and can run AC, fridge, and microwave without it shutting off. Plenty of power, great price, reasonably quiet (especially in eco mode).

I have a Yamaha 2000i that I was disappointed when I unboxed it it was made in China. After years of use, I wanted to upgrade for home and RV use.
After hours of research I choose the Firman. I wasn’t going to pay for the name Yamaha or Honda.
I am very impressed with the build quality of my Firman, It’s comparable to my Yamaha for noise levels if not quieter at the same time being another 1300 watts.
My unit started first pull out of the box and every time after. My Yamaha is grumpy and needs several pulls every time. It’s been this way since new.
The Firman runs my RV AC unit just fine while staying decently quite.
Over all I’m very happy at this point with the Firman.
