The generator works exactly as advertised. it initially started right up and I have just finished with the 5 hour break in period.
As expected, this unit runs my fifth wheel A/C and everything else I tried just fine. It is pretty quiet, easy to roll around, and is low enough to fit in my truck bed with the tonneau cover in place which is why I initially selected this specific generator.
I called Firman's customer service department and requested the high altitude jet kits. Unexpectedly, they got them right out to me without any associated cost and their rep was quite pleasant to deal with.
So far I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. As always, PED did a superb job and the generator meets all my needs. Highly recommend!

Called electric generators direct on hold for an hour - could not talk to anyone who could help with problem - gave me number for firman in Arizona - called them on hoid for 1 1/2 hour - they give me some ideas on how to fix generator - did everything they said - still will not start with battery - still in process of working with firman it takes at least an hour to talk to someone if you leave number they will not call back - will have to take it to a dealer nearest dealer is 140 miles away

Ok the box showed up with no visible damaged, and it was unexpected so fedx didn’t wait for a person to sign for it (Bad Fedx) it was on the front porch for anyone to take.My main concern about it handling the surge of power on my RV appliances was a success. I have the Watch Dog 50amp surge protector and an application to my phone let’s me monitor watts wich the geni was running at around 2300w. This leads me to the sound decibels when running on a heavy load it’s decibels where 68 at under 10 feet which at a typical RV camp site with electricity would be to loud for the neighbor and you wouldn’t be using the geni. All in all it lived up to the writing on the box.
Including the remote start function, if you turn of the breaker switch to the camper you can successfully start the geni and wait for the idle to settle at least 3 minutes of warm up in warm weather. Then you will not have to go outside in the early morning to start it.

Super awesome product. I was between this one and the model beneath it. It’s not to loud at all, I ran it in a fenced lot with a lot of echo and couldn’t even hear it from the other side. Works great, hands out 30ft camping trailer just fine!
