My wife works from home and no power is no excuse to not work. We purchased this Generac generator a couple years ago and it has been fabulous! Always starts on first or second pull as long as you keep non-ethanol gas and Sta-bil in the fuel. Only time it would not start was when in an emergency I had to buy ethanol fuel and forgot to add Sta-bil. Drained the fuel and added new and cranked on first pull. Lesson learned. I have a transfer switch to backfeed my panel with the breakers marked to turn on with the generator and it makes it a breeze. Powers plenty of lights, internet modem, fridge, two freezers and our well pump will still operate. I Would highly recommend this generator.

This generator works flawlessly as long as you regularly start and run under load as is recommended. CAUTION: If you have trouble pull starting any small engine, I recommend the electric start model. This unit has a hard pull and if you have not done your periodic running, get your starting fluid out, remove air filter cover and give it a shot. It will probably kick right off (I speak from experience). Even after a prolonged non-running period, once it started it ran great. It is not a quiet running motor. The dB ratings don't mean much my ears tell me more. I wish these small engine manufacturers would design quieter mufflers.

I love it. I ordered this Thursday morning Friday morning I received email to schedule delivery. Yes it was that quick it was delivered when they said it would be and it was secured on a pallet.Today I got the chance to put together the only thing the sucked was splitting the cotter pins. Once I put the oil and gas this bad boy fired up with half a pull.
I had a manual switch installed so on the test run it powered the house .The only circuits off were water heater, dryer, and furnace.
I looked at another store they had same model a 100 bucks cheaper but they had shipping fee 100 bucks plus some and a lift gate fee no no thank you.

Would not start until I disconnected low oil sender, not sure about all in one knob hopefully it will hold up over time, mat be I'm just old school but think I would rather turn gas on and choke and kill switch myself.

Put gas and oil in it and it started by itself. Not really first crank and it started. I then tried two 110 air-conditioners and it ran for one hour with no problem. As a matter of fact it look like it could take more. Very pleased with just generator .
