No warranty on battery. It is your responsibility to troubleshoot and fix a brand new generator that does not work. Installed correctly. Inspected and problems right from the start. I would never buy this product again and I suggest you go to Kohler or someone else

I called regarding the fact that I paid for a generator with Wifi but still have not received it. I was told I had contact Generac but that is not who I purchased it from. Disappointed in this customer service.

Wifi Mobil Link Doesn't Work.

Everything was perfect about the install. Highly recommend three ft pipes to make the lift. Used pallet truck to get it in place first. Used 1.25 flex conduit. Would use 1.5 if I did it again. Big problem was the wifi module. I could not get it connected. Called generac twice. In the end they were not helpful and rude. Told me I had to call an installer. I asked for another Wifi module. I said I would send this one back, but they refused. I asked that this request be moved up to a supervisor. They said there were no supervisors. So very disappointed.

It's a Generac, 😁 Seriously tho if you're mechanically inclined definitely by yours here. $6k for the unit and pad and transfer switch and $500 for wiring and other things. I installed it myself in 8hrs. Very fast shipping, absolutely please with EGD..

Had this generator installed, along with the 200 amp whole house transfer switch, when we built our house in 2017. So far the hour meter shows 92 hours of run time. I change the oil and filter annually and only recently had to replace the original battery. The only issue I have had is the weekly 10 minute self test run is not enough to sufficiently heat the engine to burn off condensation in the crankcase. If the unit does not run any other time than the self test, then after 5-6 months, the engine oil will become milky from the moisture in the crankcase. The fix is to run the generator for 30-40min once a month. I simply set a reminder in my phone and run it on the 1st for 30min. No more milky oil. Also check your air filter housing periodically for the same moisture reasons. Mine needs wiping out a couple of times a year. Other than those 2 issues it has been flawless. Running our whole house during a 50 hr outage and ice storm, it used about 100gal of LP. This Generac is an awesome peace of mind!

Prompt delivery from order date. Owner installed with Navy tech skills to replace old failed unit. Saved $4000 in labor cost. Operation is manual transfer. Local dealer will not sell or install manual transfer.

The Generac system is top notch. Reliable, well designed, fairly quiet and always ready. Requires very little maintenance.
I am very disappointed with the Mobile Link app since they greedily want you to pay more to have access to all of the features.
Since there is so little to distinguish the Generac from the Kohler or the Coleman, I do not feel I should recommend Generac as they have revealed a serious character flaw at their management level. Will they figure out some other way to hold my Generac hostage?
