I didn't get the bolt down bolts called and asked for some or the sizes got no return information. Very disappointing. Get with it people.

Generac does not include bolt down bolts. According to the install manual....Three 3/8 in (or M10) lag bolts (not supplied) are recommended for securing the generator to a concrete pad.

Well, Our unit was delivered within a week of placing the order by professional delivery service, brought up the driveway and placed down right beside the spot the unit would sit! It comes well packaged but is a really heavy item! We made a skid to slide it off the pallet over to the pad and took 3 of us to move it that way! No way to pick it up manually. Everything checked out OK but you do have to buy a battery for it which runs a little over a hundred $'s.
Permitting with the City of Tallahassee take some time it seems and finally had to make a personal call to them as my electrician wasn't getting them moving! Got fast approval after my cal and the Electricians came and got it all the wiring and other installation things necessary! Nice neat professional job by RC Electric here!

The 22kW unit powers 1/2 of the breakers on my home - a 3,300 sq feet ranch with full basement and two 200amp panels.
The unit comes on quickly - and when the Grid power comes back on, it goes back to sleep. We have been very happy with the Generac.
The only issue is that all our neighbors - who notice our lights are still on after 20+ hours - want to know what they have to do, and how much it will cost to have backup power.

So easy to order, but a few days later it went on sale. After waiting for bank debit to clear (3% discount) the unit didn’t ship for another 4 days. The generator made it to Denver on May 14. Very frustrating that it took until May 25 to get delivered to our home. That’s 11 days sitting somewhere. No calls, no updates from PED or shipper. Of course I called PED and shopper, but no delivery info was forthcoming. We were going to order another 22kW whole house generator from PED, but after our experience we’ll get it from local big box store.

Very sorry you experienced shipping delays. Based on the notes in the order, the carrier was having trouble contacting you at the original # that you provided. Also the carrier noted that due to the rain in the area, and the dirt/mountain road, the delivery was delayed.

Installation of our generator was essentially completed in one day by Dave and Daniel of One-stop Generator. They did an excellent job overall. They were very willing to answer all my questions. Even after a full day's work, they took the time to straighten up and clean the generator area. Needless to say, I was impressed with their effort
Of course,I won't be able to review the performance of the generator itself until I'm able to run it. Because of all the rain here in South Florida, it still may take several weeks to be able run the generator. Note: I had to answer product rating to be able to send this review.
