Nice Transfer Switch

Overall this is a nice produce. I wish generac offered more interior rated transfer switches. Its annoying surface mounting the exterior rated transfer switches inside. Only thing to be aware of with this is the depth of the enclosure will fit in a 2x6 wall not a 2x4 wall. If installed in a 2x4 wall it will stick out of the wall a couple inches and not fully be flushmount. You'll have to packout around the enclosure or add trim to make it look right

Great Alternative To A Whole House System

Review Posted 03/07/2023
I couldn't use a whole house system without remodeling a beautifully built panel concealment cabinet. This just fit in the space and got me out of a jam. It powers enough to keep the customer comfortable year round. Be careful, space is rather tight pulling Generac wire in thru the supplied feed knockout. Be forewarned that you may also need to add a neutral lug to the bar for a #2 or #4 feed from the generator. A #6 neutral feed will fit the buss as is.
