This is a great solution for getting the generator mobile on my deck. Hardest part was getting the generator elevated to remove the existing brackets and install the kit. I built 2 6" platforms out of 2x4s and slid them in on either side of the generator at the middle. Still had to use other wood to keep the generator from tipping off one side or the other. Not a big deal and certainly worth the few minutes it took to do it. Instructions and illustrations are very clear and all the hardware works as indicated. Finished piece is VERY easy to move and manipulate.

You Need A Set Of Wheels With This Generator

Simply said, the Eu3000 is not a light weight. I purchased this set of Honda wheels because where I use this Gen. is normally on flat ground. Honda makes larger wheels for less level areas which makes it more portable for some uses. They also make handles that you attach to you existing Eu3000 which make it a one person mover. I also believe that those handles collapse to the side when not needed. Fo my uses, I bought this wheel set and it works great for me and I don't need any more than what these wheels provide. I think that they are well made and probably last me forever.

It fit the generator like a glove but when installing the large wheels the wasn’t enough washer to make them tight so I had to go but washers to take the slack out. I guess someone forgot to put 4x washers like the manual stated.

We use this for camping and running our 5th wheel electricity when the batteries run low or need to draw more power. Ie water pump, lights etc...its very quiet compared to most generators. That's the beat part. Turn key start is convenient but if the battery goes out the pull start back up is perfect..

Good generator. It is big and heavy for its output but with the wheel kit I added it is manageable so long as I dont need to lift it. It has electric starting which is has a lot to do with why I chose it

Received the kit quickly,good instructions, installed quickly while supported from chain fall, quality appears to be very good. Much easier to move the generator from my garage to house when power is out.

Your store needs to make the choices of wheels more apparent. The insert that came with the generator showed other wheel kits.
This kit is a bit of a pain to install.
1. The heavy unit needs to be laid sideways on 2 4x4 in order to allow the axle to be installed
2. The instructions do not explain that oil should be put in AFTER installing the kit.
The kit works, but the front wheels are small. The unit is required to operate outdoors, so it really needs 4 BIG wheels, rather the little office casters. It also could use a handle that would allow a person to pull it rather than breaking the back to push it and lift the front over obstacles, because of the aforementioned little casters

I'm thinking about getting the Honda EU3000iS 4-Wheel Kit. I will need to pull the generator on this cart up a ramp to get it into my pickup. Does the generator simply sit on top of the cart or is the generator somehow attach to the cart? I don't want the generator falling off the cart.
