I do wish this unit had a switch or instructions for removing neutral bond. It's really not that hard but would be better to have clear instructions and a switch would be better with a warning/indicator depending on use. I can't really afford two of these for different uses so making the change is a bit inconvenient and tagging it on/off so anyone would know how it's setup is a pain. Love the access to the battery, oil fill/stick. Well packaged and easy assembly.

I'm very excited to get this machine to work. I've added the oil and fresh fuel, but won't get the chance to play with it for a couple of days. But, I have a smaller 3KW Honda generator that I've been extremely happy with. So, I fully expect this big guy to join the ranks of easy machines to use. Honda has incorporated many nice features, and I especially like the ability of the engine to throttle down when not under load. Nice and quiet too.

I finally got an electrician to install the right wiring to allow this generator to run my home. I can run a 2 1/2 ton A/C along with pool pump, water pump, fans, TVs, well anything without a heating element. It is loud at full load and is very heavy. I have it on my screen room with a Honda cover made for this unit.

Good product. Competitive price. Good delivery. Consumer should be made aware that the generator has to be modified for home use. Along with service bulletin#20 with that it can be modified in 5 minuties. without that information you will waste a lot time and money trying to figure out why it keeps kicking off breaker. The service bulletin #20 should be included considering how expensive it is.
