Been using this for 3 years -- no complaints, then the Bluetooth stopped working. I have had numerous other generators, other brands and I bought a Honda to not have break/fix issues.

We purchased this generator to back up our house in the event of a power outage. We can operate most circuits in the home with it. Easy to set up - mount the wheels and folding handle, add oil and fuel and all set to go. We're using TruFuel (canned gas) in this unit. We also appreciate the Bluetooth interface to monitor amperage that the unit is supplying.

Electric Start Verses Pull Start

For years I have owned a pull start Honda Generator as well as mower and power washer. This past winter I had a hard time pull starting my generator. In April I had to have my upper bicep tendon cut because of trying to pull start my generator. That's when I decided to sell the pull start and purchase an electric start. I am very satisfied with this generator now that it will power my whole house.

This is my second Honda generator. I gave my brother my Honda in the last storm when he lost power for five days. So, I ordered a new one for myself. I was not happy in the delivery method, but the Honda is so well built there was no damage.
