This 5000 watt generator is powered by a Subaru EX30 engine with auto engine shut off for low oil. It has a 8 gallon metal fuel tank with an easy to read gauge. The generator gets 14.4 hours of run time at 50% load.

The 10 inch flat free wheels make the unit easy to transport. The AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) keeps equipment protected from voltage surges.

There are two 5-20R 20 Amp Duplexes & a L14-30R 20 Amp Twistlock on this model. A two foot 20 amp cord and oil are included. There is a 3 year warranty on both the engine and the generator.

I received the generator from the freight company with no damage. The unit required installation of the wheels and handles, and that was fairly easy. It has two handles, like a wheelbarrow, not one as pictured. Once I put the supplied oil and some gas in, the generator started on the first pull.
Now I just need to wait for the next power failure to see how well it works for me.

Expert Response
If the generator is going to sit for a while, you will want to add some fuel stabilizer to the gas in the tank.
