This product is extremely well built & very heavy duty. I attached this to the outside of our brick well house so we could power the well during a power outage. Our well is 110volt.

Awesome Product

I live in a rural area and the power goes out quite frequently during the summer storms in Florida. When the power goes out I have no water as we are on well water which requires an electric pump. This allows me to hook my generator to the pump which is hardwired into the panel. My only comment about quality is the switch that selects generator or line power seems a little cheap feeling and I hope I won't have issues in the future but at the moment it's working as expected. I had problems finding a 30 amp 120 volt transfer switch so this did the trick, the price was reasonable.
My electrician highly recommends and always buys his generator components such as transfer switches from Electric Generators Direct. He says based on his experience they have the best prices and the best customer service overall. The product did arrive with one corner bent in just a little but with a pair of pliers he was able to bend it back and the box was partially opened in transit the tape did not stick fully and I was reluctant to sign for it when UPS driver handed it to me since the Box appear to show damage and partially open.
My electrician did open up everything and other than the minor dent everything seemed in working order. There were no instructions and or wiring diagrams provided with the unit but those may have been lost when the box was opened in transit and my electrician didn't need the instructions and or wiring diagram to hook it up as he has done many in the past. However this could be a problem if a homeowner or an inexperienced installer was attempting to wire it up.
