Tightening lug screw did not secure electrical wires in place. Two pulled loose while the third could be secured as tightening screw just turned in its socket. Very poor quality and workmanship.

Ordered the Reliance Controls A510C kit - transfer switch, power inlet and extension cord. All were on backorder, so took about 8 weeks to receive all items. Everthing is matched, high quality, straightforward to install and they work well together.

The box is too shallow front to back with wire connections in the rear of the receptacle which makes it very difficult to connect wires. The quality of materials is fine but box needs to be modified to make it deeper.

Can this 50amp inlet box w/flip up lid be mounted sideways and still be a NEMA boc. If so, can you run conduit into what is now the top of the box and stil be UL listed?

Hi Jim, I am looking at your Generac 15kw. The place of installment has a 200A service with a 50A/240V CB for the stove and a 20A/240V CB for the large door. I do not look forward to wiring a transfer switch inside as the layout is not good. Putting the switch next to the outside box makes more sense to me. What do you recommend? Do you sell a 200A switch without CBs? I do not know what the NEC states but it seems if all circuits already have CBs and as the generator has a CB, it would be safe. Only thing the owner will have to monitor what is on at once. Thanks for your help. Steve
