This is a beast of a machine however it has a few design flaws: It cannot be used in light rain or dew conditions. The rocker switches are not water proof. My main switch went out the first week. The company sent me a new one promptly.. The dip stick has an angle in it making it hard to re- seat and too much pressure on it will kink it. The fuel on off valve is easy to break unless you reach in behind panel and push it towards you so it will operate. The oil fill cap is only threaded by the valve cap cover and easy to cross thread so extra caution must be used tightning it.

Arrived in 3 days. Easy to unpack. Minimal stuff to put together. Runs great on gasoline or propane. Have only run unit for 2 hours so far love it.

Very pleased.. We ordered it online, never using this company before. They were great. From ordering the generator to making contacts with shipper. Was contacted by phone and email. Quick delivery. Product came well packaged. He whole thing start to finish was excellent. We have ran the generator. Just make sure you follow instructions properly. We had electrician install outlet and transfer switch in house. Turned off main pole power feed to house. Started generator. 1 by 1 we switched on each switch to house. Generator ran everything in house ( not furnace or ac) with barely moving in wattage. Our house is 1900 square feet very open up to 2nd floor. Not that noisy for being right outside back door. Once we have longer cord and place farther away, you won’t hear it in house.

First, Electric Generators Direct was a pleasure to deal with.. they made ordering very simple..any questions and they helped with getting the correct answers.. shipping company was a delight dealing with also.. kept us informed the whole way..generator is awesome. Was in perfect shaped. Crated and boxed well. Easy to assemble. Heavy on its own.

Put the wheels and handle on and it’s not so bad to push or pull. Do read and follow all directions. We ran it twice a week for couple of hours to break it in. Not as noisy as I thought. Getting breaker box installed next week and with plug where it connects from the outside to box. For our needs it will work.

Would give this zero stars if I could. PED will take your money and then pawn you of on manufacturer when there is a problem. Do yourself a favor and buy local... Generator arrived on time, assembled, added oil and gas, ran one time. Than a gas leak developed. Each time I contact PED I waited on hold over an hour and was told to deal with Westinghouse. Westinghouse would not replace unit and it has ben sitting at authorized repair center for two weeks. I asked both Westinghouse and PED for a replacement generator was was told no, my only course of action was to bring it to a service center. I purchased a very expensive generator and don't even have it in my possession as I am writing this review.
