If this generator is half as good as my old one it will be well worth it. My old was built in the 1950s and still works but I thought I should up date and up grade. We will see if I made a smart choice or not.

Good quality product. No fluctuations in power, which is good for the electronics in the house. Had it set at 122 volts, which was what I had in the house when I flipped the switch, for a test run. It ran the same for several hours, even when an appliance kicked on.

Ordered before Hurricane Ian was identified and it was delivered the day before hurricane hit. We lost power for 3 days. I mounted the generator to a sturdy pallet made sure the tumbler bar was level and hooked up to my Deere. Ran like a champ. Kept 2 fridges 2 freezers my well and septic pumps on. I ran it for 3 hours on 6 hours off to conserve fuel. Used only 10 gallons of diesel for 3 days. Saved $1000’s of dollars worth of food. Very grateful it showed up in nick of time. I have since purchased the mounting cart.

I don't know yet . I can't find a 60 amp inlet box and plug. They only offer a 50 amp or 30 amp. .Please advise

Winco supplies the 60-Amp NEMA 14-60 Full Power Plug with the generator. It requires a #4 / 4 conductor cord. We suggest using an electrician for the installation.

It is a beautiful high quality piece of equipment. My neighbor who is an electrical engineer was very impressed. I chose the tractor generator because I use my tractor frequently and typically generators want to be run frequently.
It weighs 150 lbs. at 77 its too heavy for me to lift so I created a dolly to move it around easily when I back the tractor up to it.
I found that the tumbler did not want to be over 5 degrees out of level when operating so I bought the tumbler and the PTO to attach it and spent time figuring out how to set it up. It runs rock solid on that. Little learning thing however, I have never had a use for my PTO so be sure and slow the tractor engine down before engaging it. OOPS.
READ the book with the machine..

will last. To my 4100 JD and it would kill the engine when I pulled the pto button but would probably work if it was a clutch pto. Hooked it up to my 55 horse Mahindra and it runs the entire house, well, ac, freezers etc. No worries about power outages now. Let's see what hurricane season has to bring.

Great quality PTO generator and no problem driven with my Kubota L3200. I have not applied a full load at this time but I do not anticipate any problems. When driven with my tractor the operation was very smooth and no vibration. I adjusted the engine RPM to achieve proper voltage output. One thing I believe this unit needs is a Hertz meter to verify the proper frequency (60 Hz). This would make it much simpler to adjust output speed because you need (240VAC but speed controls the frequency). This is necessary for the proper operation of A.C. motors such as well pumps, HVAC units (compressors and bower motors, ceiling fans, etc.).

After installing generator on the trailer kit it was ready to run and test the generator out with a load. I had qualified electrician install transfer switch. I followed the instructions on prestart checklist and engaged the PTO and started supplying power to home. Electrician checked voltage and it was very steady. Electrician commented that this was a very clean power supply with hardly any fluctuations. We started and stopped power users in the house I.E. dryer, AC and the generator stayed steady and was doing very well. We’re ran it in for an hour and it performed very well.
The only issue on the generator unit was making sure oil level was at right level. Make sure you have the specified gear oil as specified in manual to ensure oil is at right level before starting unit up. The manual says too much or too little oil can damage unit.

I have a Kubota 2920 compact tractor with 29 HP overall and less at the PTO. Am I better off buying the 15kW and not maxing it out or buy a 10kW and have no HP issues but max the generator?

With most 10kW and 15kW PTO driven generators driven at 540 RPM PTO and the Winco 10 and 15kW units driven at 515 RPM PTO, does that mean I could run my Kubota 38 h.p. at a lower RPM for the Winco to operate at full capacity or would my Kubota still have to still run at about the same RPM's as the 540 RPM PTO generators? What would be the difference in the rpm's between the two with my tractor for them to maintain the same load?
