About Tri-Fuel Generators
What is a Tri-Fuel Generator?
Tri-fuel backup generators allow you to switch between three fuel sources: gasoline, propane, and natural gas. This ability offers maximum flexibility and protects you against fuel shortages. On most tri-fuel generators, you can easily switch between gasoline, propane, and natural gas by flipping a fuel selector switch or turning a knob. Refer to your user manual for specific instructions regarding your generator.
Power Output:
We offer wattage ranges as low as 4,000 for backing up a few essentials and as high as 20,000 for powering larger home appliances. Find generators with rated amperages ranging from 27-83. Shop top brands like Westinghouse, Champion, and Firman.
Keep in mind that load capacities differ depending on the fuel source. Before switching fuel sources, make sure the generator can supply enough running and starting watts for what you are powering.
Starting Systems:
Find models with recoil, electric start, or both.
