The transfer switch came early and so did stay in the box until we finally received the generator. When our electrician installed the box, it was not uniform and built very poorly. He actually had to cut parts of the metal inside to make the switches fit. Don't know what to say but that was a disappointment and he said that was the first he had ever seen this before.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is not something we normally hear about when installing Briggs ATS. We'll definitely bring this to the attention of our Briggs rep.

Finally, an ATS that is not per-wired. How many times have you purchased a pre-wired unit thinking that it will save you time and money, but costs you more time to rework, remove wiring and breakers. Well now you don't this B&S ATS is a blank slate you configure to what you need. I only have (1) thing that I wish all manufactures would add to panel ATS. (2) Larger lugs for neutrals wire.
