Gas Hose for Firman Generator

The hose is precisely what I needed and hoped for. I had a natural gas tap and an interlock for the breaker panel put in (pricey). My trifuel 7500 Firman Generator (good value) from Costco is now set up for outages here in New Orleans during hurricane season or whatever else might cause an extended power outage (I hope). Natural gas is the way to go - gasoline or propane are nice-to-haves but a real hassle for outages. Only time natural gas wasn't available was after the Federal Flood (aka Katrina). I try to test the whole rig once a month. Every must have and a lot of other useful stuff runs fine even though natural gas provides significantly less power than gasoline for the generator.

A licensed local plumber recommended this Firman natural gas quick connect hose for our model T-07571 tri-fuel generator. He did say to use appropriate plug in the already plumbed NG valve on the house, and use yellow Teflon tape to wrap around the male adapter. He did say he saw no issue with the Firman recommended #185 25' gas hose with quick connects.
