I bought this for taking to My Drag Boat races only. Its smaller and lighter than my other one. Its moderately quite and has enough power to run my two battery charges or my Portable Pellet Grill for cooking after the races. Its also powerfull enough to power my 10000 Lumens LED Work light should any late night repirs be needed.

I dinged this to 3 stars in the features section only because of the noise level. It’s a 4 stroke engine so it really should be quieter. It’s not terrible but for camping it would be nice to have something a little quieter. I am going to try to retrofit this with a small motorcycle muffler to get the noise down. Again, it’s not too loud but not as quiet as I’d like. I got this on sale and it was a bargain at the sale price. Well worth the $200 dollars.

Just finished the 5 hour break in period. Put one quart of gas in at a time to see how long it would go with 585 wAtt load. Ran 1 hour 15 minutes before it started surging due to low fuel. Governor reaction time was quick to react. Motor never bogged, will start adding tools with 150 to 300 watt ratings to get a better idea of what this little engine will handle.
Only negative point I have is that I wish there was a heat shield between the muffler and armature to keep it from cooking the stator.

Used this on my last camping trip to run my oxygen machine. Saved me from taking a bunch of extra bottles for sleeping or when just sitting around my campsite. Easy on gas and was quieter then I thought it would be. Also, price was excellent! Good bang for the bucks.

This generator replaced a 2 cycle-1000watt I got tired of messing with. Very easy pull start. Started right up and runs good unload. Have only used it for about 2hr so can't comment on long term quality but it appears to be of high quality. The only complaint I have so far is the gas cap. While moving it yourself any tilting will leak gas all over the generator and you. Wish they would replace the cap with one that doesn't leak but still breaths to allow correct fuel flow during use.

Started right up and runs great. It’s a little louder than I expected being a smaller generator and the instructions on oil volume may have been off as I way over-filled it and had to drain some of the oil back out to get it to proper level. This unit was purchased for long-run-time for a sump pump in rare case of potential flooding but will be used periodically for other purposes. I’d recommend this unit as most smaller generators top off around 900 watts-7.5Amps running and this one takes you to 1200 Watts-10amps without much more cost!
