I am happy with this generator, but I have noticed that it doesn't seem to idle down to as low rpm’s as my EU3000is unit (which I believe is actually quieter than this new one)!
Other than that it is a very nice unit, and is very compact and light for its output!
Very expensive but I’d say worth every penny.

Quality, compact and very quiet! Honda has once again out done themselves. Started on the third pull out of the box, easy pull. Good power and you can pair with another one and double the output. Both my wife and me can pick it up and move it, no cart required. First fuel injected model, to early to tell, but so far runs perfect with a load. Multi use application. Would buy it again and stronly recommend.

My brother bought a EU3000is that had some dings, and wanted to save $200.00, from a dead beat company with a very similar name, as this company. From the left coast. He call Honda and they said they would not cover it if something went wrong. That company would not return his call. I felt bad because I thought I had gotten my other two from that company. I was wrong, mine came from Electric Generators Direct. I traded up even with him for his dented, scraped EU3000. Believe me, ONLY DEAL WITH ELECTRIC GENERATORS DIRECT, not the other guy.

On our first camping trip with our new Honda 3200i we were traveling 65mph when it came loose and fell off the tray on our trailer. Luckily there was no traffic coming. It bounced twice on the pavement and went down a 40 feet embankment. We stopped and I found it at the bottom of the embankment. I sat it upright, checked the oil and tried to start it. It started on the first pull. We camped for 4 nights and it ran without any problems. Says a lot for quality and workmanship.

My wife and I recently purchased a new RV and wanted to get a quality generator for running AC in the summer and the furnace in the winter. I must have looked at a hundred different models and brands and settled on the new Honda EU3200I.
It is powerful and quiet and pretty easy to carry around if needed. I plan on buying an additional one and a parallel kit once Honda makes a kit available. Best generator I have every owned.

This is an excellent generator after one month of use. The EFI makes for very easy starting and consistent power.
The Bluetooth setup is a bit clunky but once you time all the steps correctly it’s pretty smooth.
Pricey, but given the manufacturer, it’s worth it.

Shipping up to Alaska definitely not free, but Fedex 2nd day air was quick and cheaper than via ground. Generator is made in Japan so the quality is the best, hands down. This thing is portable, light enough for my wife to setup and very quiet. Flip the engine switch to ON, and yank. No messing with a carb, etc. Videos floating around of this gen taking up to 3800 watts, but I haven't loaded it that high. So far tested it as a home backup (ran a fridge, separate freezer, gas water heater, some lights and gas furnace through the 30 amp receptacle).
The phone app is a bit pointless as the only control you have over the generator is to stop it and the econ mode. Walk out of the garage and the bluetooth connection is gone. It's good for tracking hours and the maintenance schedule I suppose. For that price, Honda definitely could have included a cover for the generator and a can of oil. Will test this little guy through the Alaskan winter and will update this review. So far, happy with the gen.
