This 5500 watt generator has a 7 gallon metal fuel tank with an easy to read fuel gauge. It gets 11 hours of run time at 50% load. The 12 inch flat-free wheels make it easy to transport. The digital multi meter records engine run time for scheduled maintenance. Covered outlets provide protection from the environment.

Great Gen Set

Got it thru a Big Box store, $600 last year. After Hurricane Maria has been running for more than 500 hours ( 4 to 6 hrs/ day avg.) With no problems. I leave near a rain forest the avg temp 78F and humidity always above 80%. Change the oil every 7 days and add oil conditioner with no problems. Took for evaluation and just need minor adjustment on rpm to get proper Hz. Motor running like new. Even is small. I run a 22 inch refrigerator and a 1000w micro with minor rpm changes. During weekends use for large washing machine and dryer with no problem. Sorry the model was discontinued. It's a winner with proper care and use.

A Great Generator

I live in the Carson valley we get high winds that can knock the power out from time to time. It's a good Idea to have a back up power source, since I only have a forced air heater, so if I have no power I have no heat. Time will tell as to how dependable the Powermate generator is. So far it seems to work fine.
